The Challenge We Face

Somewhere along the way, business became a place to leave your faith at the door.

Our economy shapes almost everything about how we live, work, and raise our families, yet Catholics in business are routinely expected to keep their faith quiet, private, and separate from how they lead, hire, and serve. The result is a Catholic economy that is scattered instead of strong.

  • Catholic businesses operate in isolation, with no coordinated network or shared voice.
  • Younger Catholics see fewer local, visible examples of faith and enterprise thriving together.
  • Faith-driven leaders feel pressure to keep their convictions private, even in their own businesses.

We started the Catholic Chamber to answer that. Not with slogans, but with a real, organized Catholic economic presence in Fort Wayne.

Who We Are

A founding group, building something real.

Our People

Founded by business owners

A group of committed Catholic business owners and professionals who chose to build this together, not a top-down initiative.

Our Structure

A registered 501(c)(6)

An established nonprofit trade association, organized for the shared interests of its members and the common good.

Our Standing

Blessed by the Diocese

We carry the blessing of the Vicar General of the Fort Wayne / South Bend Diocese, and we operate in accordance with the Church.

Why We Exist

Faith isn't meant to stop at the office door.

Catholics in business often operate in isolation, without a coordinated network, and often facing quiet pressure to keep their faith out of the marketplace. The Catholic Chamber exists to change that: uniting Catholic business owners, professionals, and consumers in the Fort Wayne area to build a vibrant Catholic economy, support faith-driven leadership, and create real opportunity for Catholics to live and work in alignment with what they believe.

  • Economic life is a vital, legitimate arena for living out the Catholic faith.
  • Collective action strengthens both the individual business and the broader community.
  • Trust is built through integrity, competence, and consistency, not promises.

"The Catholic Chamber exists to strengthen Catholic businesses, build community, and create lasting opportunity through faith lived in the marketplace."

Prosperity

We work toward a vibrant, lasting Catholic economic presence: prosperity with purpose, for families and for the Church.
